Northern Rivers Country Pub Selling For Less Than A House

The Commercial Hotel Rappville, located about 80km north of Grafton, opened to the public for possibly the last time on Saturday after the beloved pub’s owners failed to find a buyer.

A heritage-listed country pub in the Northern Rivers opened to the public for what could be the final time.

The Rappville Pub is a 109-year-old Historical, heritage-listed Hotel within the small village of Rappville. Only a few minutes to Myrtle Creek and 20 minutes from Casino.

Built in 1911 by Henry RAPP. 'Rappville' was named after the pioneer. Commercial Hotel, Rappville is now one of the oldest and last Timber pubs standing in the state.

The pub is also known as 'The Rappy' and 'Rappville Pub'.

The Commercial Hotel Rappville is on the market for just $975,000 and has received offers, but its owners are refusing to sell until they find the right buyer willing to keep the pub open for years to come.
